Should I be able to feel my breast implants through my skin?

I am 11 days post-op. I had my implants placed underneath the pectoral muscle. I am wondering if it is normal that I can feel the plastic wall of the implant through my skin? I can't feel this all over, it is just along the bottom of both breasts, near the breast fold. I am posting here because I can't reach my doctor, since it is the weekend.

Should I be able to feel my breast implants through my skin?
Yes. Most often, the implant is much larger than the pectoral muscle lying over it. In the places where there is no muscle over top, you may be able to feel the implant. This is one of the few GOOD things about silicone versus saline. Silicone feels and often looks much more natural than the saline implants. However, the bottom line is that no matter what kind of implant you get, the breast will no longer feel or act like a completely natural breast. The best we can hope for is that it will look like one! That's why it is called "Cosmetic" surgery... it only affects how we appear.
Reply:You know guys will answer your question in a perverted fashion
Reply:Yes---You should be able to feel them. I asked my doctor the same question after I had my implants. Kinda freaked me out at first. It feels really strange that you can move them around too. Be prepared for that. And your right....Mostly at the bottom is where you can feel them most. Dont worry!
Reply:Yes, you might be able to feel them a little bit and especially now after surgery your breasts will feel different and even once you are fully healed, you'll still feel like you have implants. If that's all that's worrying you, then just get some rest and call your doctor on Monday!
Reply:um no but i should be able too!
