Should I be at my ideal weight before getting breast implants?

I am underweight, and I am hoping to get breast implants soon. Should I reach my ideal weight before getting them? Will being underweight effect them in any way??

I would say yes, get to your ideal weight first and make sure your comfortable there before you add breast implants they can add a lot of extra stress to your body, and i'm sure you don't want or need any more stress, again congrats!!! and i'm very happy for you , and i'm wishing you great health in the future.

Reply:Im not a doctor or such,, but i do know that you do need to meet requirements depending on the size/weight of desired implants because they can cause things like back problems. Your doctor probably knows more about it than i do though:)

Reply:If you gain some weight, your breasts will likely gain too. So why not wait %26amp; see if they are an "acceptable" size to you once you do gain? Really, I would not get implants even if you are small up top. Do you really want guys looking at you just for your boobs? And the possible complications! Any surgery can cause death. Not really worth it. Then the possible infection, scarring, etc. Accept who you are %26amp; your body the way it is. You will be healthier.

They are just silicon implants, all that is going to change is now you will have bigger breasts. The weight change will come naturally, if at all.

Your breasts, one of the most sensitive areas of your body are going to become nothing more than objects! If you're underweight, you're going to have the issue of back pain. But, if you still want to go through with it.... good luck.

Reply:I am not a plastic surgeon and I don't have implants so I'm not really very qualified to answer this but I have heard that a lot of doctors do not like putting implants in very skinny girls. Partly because of the dangers on anesthesia (being too skinny is better then being too fat though) but I think also because it's just harder to get the implants in. Probably depends on how large the implants you want to get. I'd say wait until you get to your ideal weight. If you gained a little wait you may decide you don't need implants after all.
