How often do you need to replace breast implants?

I heard every 8 years. I'm thinking about getting saline implants. I'm a 34 A and my breasts are pointy. I have a very small top half and a large bottom half and I'd really like to even things out. I'm wondering how often I'll have to have surgery if I chose to do this. Thanks

Hello,

There is no routine maintenance for saline breast implants. If they do not rupture and you do not have other problems, they can last 10-20 years. I have plenty of patients who have had them in over 10 years and they are fine. These are patients who went mid-range on size though. Larger implants have more need for redo surgery as they may burst more frequently and/or get "droopy."

Reply:Don't do if unless nothing means nothings to you.

I don't believe it makes people happy -- that's just something they say to TRY to make themselves happy.

I think it is make-believe, and unless you are absolutely sure that you can deceive yourself for the rest of your life, then you will regret it many times.

Besides, it looks awful with those bubbles inside a delicate A-breast! Really try to feel deep if that is something you would be happy to go around with, or you just panicked and thought you have to do it?
Reply:Girl size doesn't mater but if you feel bad you should get some implants it usually is around every 10 years, good luck. eat some meat I grew up with all boys and eating meat and milk really help the size grow! i have size DD and I am not overweight good luck on the evening
