Ladies why do you get breast implants?

I'm sure most if not all women hate shallow men.


So why do some women get breast implants when it's so hypocritical.


Some may say to increase their own confidence; to feel better about themselves, but surely you will only be feeling good because you are getting the attention you wanted, by men.


The media portrays bigger breasts to be ideal, otherwise not many women would want them. But the media is also controlled by men, so surely you are fulfilling shallow men's dreams?

Ladies why do you get breast implants?
I had surgery due to breast cancer and now wear a prosthesis to balance both sides - if I could afford it I too would get implants. Not all women get them for attention from men.
Reply:It depends on the circumstances! I personally would like to have implants because, after losing a great deal of weight, I no longer have the curves I used to. After living a good deal of your life with amazing breasts, it is absolutely shocking to no longer have them!


Also, women don't do things just to impress men. We also do them to impress other women. And it might definitely make you feel better about yourself. Having confidence is everything!

i gave birth to twins %26amp; went from 13stone down to 8stone in the first year...i lost all of my boobs...it made me very depressed...so i had implants....and it made me feel much better about myself - nothing wrong with that...i paid for it privately!!
Reply:I totally agree that women wanting breast implants are just seeking acceptance by men rather than increasing their own confidence.True confidence comes from accepting your body type instead of mutilating it to fit someone else's ideals.


I'm not ashamed to say that i have small boobs(i feel it's ok coz i'm skinny overall) and i would never get implants for any reason.
Reply:if paying for saline/silicone to make the breast fuller is their own option of being feminine then let them. Dont let a man tell you what you can and cant do to your body its your choice to go under the knife. Life partners usually support their woman if they choose to and some talk them out of it and prefer their B cups.


I think big boobs are overrated anyway , I had to take a size 12 cardigan back (and im usually a 10) because my boobs made the buttons gape and still the 16 didnt fit me and I am only a natural DD. So they think bigger boobs will suit their petite frames but clothes are really hard to find then because you'll be top heavy, think about it.
Reply:well, i know for myself, it wouldn't be to get more attention from men. i am a size 36 D, i have 4 kids, and have lost my war on gravity! i was just discussing this with my husband, and i would like to actually get just a breast lift. i want it for myself. i get plenty of attention without doube Ds. but i do have to say, that a lot of women, i feel, get breast implants, lipo, nose jobs, etc, do so because they are not so confident with themselves. thats just my opinion though. and not everybody who gets "fixed" is insecure with themselves.
Reply:It has become so common now. Women are judged by their appearance by men so harshly. So now when they do something to make themselves look better they are called shallow also. That is what's hypocritical.
Reply:I don't have them, but I'm thinking about getting them. Bras are hard to find b/c my rib cage is kinda big, but my boobs are so tiny. I have a hard time finding women's clothes that I can fill out so I still shop in the junior's dept (I'm 25). I'm happily married and my husband likes me just the way I am, but I've always found women w/ larger breasts more attractive and I know I'd feel sexier if I actually had boobs! So, it's not about making strangers happy, it's about making myself happy and making shopping easier!
Reply:Not all men want bigger breasts on their women! Everyone finds different things attractive.





Some people do get breast reconstructive surgery after a masectomy, but the majority of women just think that they'll feel better after getting a boob-job. It's not necessarily true (heck, implants come with a plethora of side effects, not to mention the fact that they eventually need to be redone).





I personally wish I had a bigger set sometimes, but when it comes down to it, I'm glad I don't have huge fake ones. Who wants attention when it's of a negative kind anyway, right?
Reply:I personally do not like women to have breast implants, they are fake and in many cases not natural, if I wanted to hold fake boobs I could buy myself some, natural for me every time.

Reply:they do it for one reason to make other women jealous of their big cleavage.well ladies get them because they can afford the procedure. they don't feel good about their natural breasts size or if their are deformities with the natural breasts. it's not all about getting the attention from men. my breasts are natural and alot of girls stare at me wishing they had my body. girls like you are just jealous when it comes to a nice body and big boobs so stop hating on girls with big breasts.
Reply:If a women gets implants it should be for herself. I can understand if you were curvy but still had no boobs why you may want to get implants though to be more feminine.
Reply:I'm just vain lol. (don't have them but I'm sure it's only a matter of time...) Some women just want to look more attractive to the opposite sex, some don't care about shallowness.
Reply:i have very small breast my man is a breast man so often he looks.it can be a little intmidating.however i would have them if i could afford it.yes to fill my mans shallow dream.but i also think my clothes would fit better and yes the attention would be nice but also nice breast are attractive even to us girls.gay or not.
Reply:its not only dat u it depends on who you are and why a u doing it ,to look good or to attract someone i believe some think its bcoz that one has bigger ones so i want em too jus like wat u hv the implants might look good on her but not on u so stick to wat u have
