Has anyone ever had Pillar Implants, and do they work? How would you rate your satisfaction with this surgery?

Only serious answers please - don't tell me to discuss it with my doc - I already did that. I'd like to know what people's personal success/failure/side effects are with this surgery.

Generally there are no side effects. The implants may be rejected by the body and can be simply removed. Even when such rejection occurs some stiffening of the palate may, nevertheless, occur, and this can bring an improvement. Pillar implants are known to be without serious side effects as they use non-toxic materials. I know of two patients whom this has fully satisfied.

Hope you have quiet soothing sleep.
