I'm looking for people living in different countries that have had any experience with airport metal detectors and metal implants. I have 2 rods in my back and would like to know what to expect if I decide to travel in the future. Some websites claim that you don't need a card/letter - just need to show them your scar (pretty obvious in my case). I thought all you needed was a letter from your GP stating that you have had a surgical procedure and where the implants are located. But would this be generally recognised in different countries? The last thing I want is to be hauled in for a cavity search lol.
Surgical implants and airport metal detectors?
My husband has had both knees replaced. He travels constantly, and just submits to a search over his clothing by an officer each and every time he goes through security. A male officer is called for men, and a female officer is called for women.
He doesn't even bother with a card or letter because they still need to search you. Anything that the metal detector finds must be searched, so if you hear beeping when you're going through the metal detector, the security officers need to find out why it's beeping. It doesn't take very long, and at least they are trying to keep weapons (and the bad guys) off the plane.
Reply:My partner has metal plates and screws in his hand and it was not detected when he whent through airport security.
Reply:I have total knee replacements...and they just use the hand wand when I tell them...and I can roll up my pant legs if needed to show them have no weapons and i do have the scars.

What kinds of operations have used brain implants?
I recently heard a report on "Outlook" (British Radio Program) about a woman who had a disease called "dystopia" (I think) that was alleviated to a large degree by having electrical implants put into her brain. What other diseases have been treated this way and what others might be (are they researching others)? Is there any reason to believe depression or schizophrenia could be affected by electrical stimuli? In a parallel question, has anyone read The Terminal Man and was that based on anything real (electrical implants for epilepsy)?
What kinds of operations have used brain implants?
I don't know about the Parkinson's disease (may be true), but implants (some called "cerebral pacemakers") in the brain are used for disease that pertain to dysfunctions of electrical firing in specific parts of the brain. For example, someone with epilepsy is someone who suffers greatly from debilitating seizures. Electrodes placed in the corpus callosum or hypothalamus (two different areas that cause seizures) of the brain can regulate the 'misfires' that cause the seizures. Another example is tourette's. New technology has allowed doctors to place two separate electrodes in different areas of the basal ganglia (are of the brain believed to be behind tourette's) that calm the signals that cause the misguided signals behind the symptoms of tourette's, by, again regulating "misfires" accross this vital are of the brain.
Reply:I support "Mechanical_P" for his answer since patients with parkinsons have a neuralogical imbalance which offsets rapid signals to the motor nurons there is an implant in the brain which releaves the signals and there is much seen difference in the patient.
I'm only farmiliar with parkinsons

Reply:I saw a report on a news chanel last night (cant remember which one) that stated doctors had implanted electrical stimuli into the brain of a patient who had Parkinsons and it completly offset the electrical imbalance. I have also heard of studies that involved implanting electrodes in the brains of patients with epilepsy.
Reply:a guy had a sort of "pacemaker" implanted b/c he had violent outbursts- it screwed up but it was fixed

How much do breast implants cost?
I'm curious to know what the average cost of breast implants are. Please don't say that I should not get the surgery... as I am seriously thinking about getting it... I'm an A cup, and it's asymmetrical, so I think just about any girl in my shoes would get it.
How much do breast implants cost?
I have a friend who had a tummy tuck and breast implants done after she knew she and her husband were done having kids. The boob job was $6,000 and the tummy tuck was another 5,000 and she said it was the best thing she ever had done to her body
Reply:Not a good idea as they have side effects. Mild asymmetry is natural. Eat good balanced diet with plenty of vegetables, fruit, nuts, milk and milk products, do yoga, gentle body massage with a natural oil and see the results for your self and also be in touch with your doctor,
Reply:mine where 5,000 and i went from a 34 6 to a 34dd and i love them i get more attention and men love them... my dr did a great job alot of people think they are real... and they went tru my belly button so i dont have any scars..

I know a nose job is around 3000-5000

How do i know if my saline implants are the cause of my RA?
I first had saline implants in Aug. 2004 I was fine till maybe October 2007. Had slight jaw stiffness and some foot pain.
I whent in February of 2008 for larger saline implant. and three week later my RA has gotton out of control, I have it all over and I don't know if it is linked to my impants.
How do i know if my saline implants are the cause of my RA?
If the saline has leaked in any way it could very well be playing a part in your RA.
The best thing you can do for yourself is immediately get a Doctor's appointment and have them test you for RA and also check your implants for any leaking.
Good luck, but go see a doctor right away!

My husband is forcing our daughter to get breast implants. What do I do?
My husband is making our 15 year-old daughter get breast implants. He says it is for her benefit but he insists on choosing the size and doctor. My daughter is confused but my husband keeps buying her gifts to soften her up. Should I let this go ahead or do I put my foot down on this?
My husband is forcing our daughter to get breast implants. What do I do?
No doctor in his right mind will do that to a 15 year old because they are not done growing yet. If a doctor will do that to a 15 year old, then you found yourself a bad doctor, and alot of things can go wrong. I find that a little weird that your husband, her father, wants her to have bigger boobs. While most parents would be happy with a normal cup for that age. Your daugthers health can be at risk if you let him do this.
Reply:Shes not through growing yet and why in the world does he care about her breast size? This seems very bizarre.
She doesn't want them and shes the one that has to go through surgery and the rest of her life with breast implants.
There should be no question at all as to the answer to this one.
No!
Does he have some kind of weird sexual fantasy about his own daughter. Strange, strange.
I also think you will be letting your daughter down if you let him make her. Protect her!
Reply:Get off the computer, call a divorce lawyer, pack up some stuff, grab your daughter out of school and leave. No self-respecting father would ever force his daughter to get breast implants. That is just sick and demented. Get you and your daughter away from the maniac you married as quickly as possible.
Reply:Put your foot down!! This is obserd, your daughter is 15 years old and not even finished growing naturally yet! Why would your husband care that much about her breast size, to force her to get implants?!?!
Reply:Oh man that sucks...My first thought would be to check your Husbands Bsckground and make sure he is not a Registered Sex Offender. Thats Creepy as Hell.
Reply:Hell no! don't let it happen. Your hubby should be shot for doing anything like that. First of all, they're not his breasts. Second, why does he feel that they are too small. that's a little creepy to me. Third, your daughter needs to accept who she is. Bigger breasts don't help in getting an honorable man, because an honorable doesn't feel that looks are as important as the person.
Reply:slap him...she is entirely too young to be getting implants atleast wait until she is an adult were she can decide if she still want to have them after she has her kids...if she want any!!!
Reply:Bullsh!t. No doctor would do this a 15 year old under any circumstances, or to anyone of any age against her will.
Reply:I hope this is a joke.
If it's not, you need to stand up to him. No one should be "made" to get implants. 15 is too young anyway, and any doctor who would give them to someone that young must not have any morals.
Why does your husband care about your daughters size anyway..that's kinda creepy and I'd wonder if he's a pedifile or something.
Reply:Please tell me this is your idea of a joke. If not, your husband is sick, needs help and needs to stay the hell away from your daughter. Any doctor that would agree to perform this procedure on a 15 y.o. needs to have his medical license yanked.
Reply:First of all... with your other questions I am just wondering... are you a man or woman?? And when did you finally get the baby your homo boyfriend didn't know you wanted???
Reply:You should ask your husband what he is getting out of this..and then ask yourself what signs about child molestation are you missing!!!
Reply:You husband needs to be checked real good, if he actually loved and cared for his daughter he would be trying to talk her out of it, at least at this age. But either way, there is something disturbing about your husband, but only you would know for sure?????????

Do most women get rippling from implants?
I have a consultation in a couple of weeks for Saline breast implants but I recently read an article which said that most women with implants will develop some type of rippling. Is this true? Will this happen right away?
Do most women get rippling from implants?
Yes, when you have your consultation, and see the implants, when you touch them and move them, you will see the rippling. Thats what it will look like under the skin. This is ALWAYS a factor with implants and you willl see it one the swelling goes down. You usually only see the rippling if you move or stand a certain way, lean over, etc. Don't worry, its not a big deal, I can make my rippling dissappear by straightening my posture.
Reply:I have Silicone implants and I have no rippling. I have had mine for 1 year and 9 months. I think that the rippling is more common with Saline implants. The Silicone implants are really safe now and that is the one my surgeon recommended. But I think that it really depends on the size of implants and how full they are along with the size of the woman. It wouldn't happen right away, it would happen later on, probably a few years later.
Reply:It does on some women, but it really depends on how small you are and how large you're going to go. I was a small A before I got my implants and now I'm a large C small D and I have no rippling at all. My implants are saline and I have had no problems with my implants the year and a half that i've had them. After my surgery I was swollen for about 3-4 weeks, but I've been happy with my boob job every since.
I hope this helps!
Reply:hmmmm, i don't think so, but i'm not completely sure. i'd definitely ask your doctor about statistics.

How old do you have to be to get implants? How much does it cost?
Farrah has some big boobs it depends on your body frame. I have nothing again implants I want them myself and i dont want to wait either just know if you dont wait they could possibly sag after children and you would have to go back in for a lift more $$ but out here in cali i have seen them as low as 2,500 which is an amazing price ust make sure to research your doc there are alot of twisted ones out there. and dont do it because of some show do it for you and if thats what you truely want go for it! you only live once and they can always be taken out if you change your mind.

I too am looking for larger breasts, the only difference is that I WON'T get implants. I am not sure if I even want larger breasts, I just know that mine are TINY. I wouldn't mind an enhancer, but I am still doing research. I don't know much about implants cause it's not my interest, I wish you luck!!!

Have you breastfed with saline implants and your kids are older? Are they okay?
How long did you breastfeed with saline implants and how old are your children now? Do they have any problems because of it? What did your doctor say about it? Thanks for answering! I'm worried about my kids and don't know if I should stop breastfeeding, even though doctor and internet say there is no known risk or case of something being wrong with kids. I just worry because I'm a mom and would like to find other moms out there with older children who nursed with implants. Thanks!
Have you breastfed with saline implants and your kids are older? Are they okay?
I did not, but my sister did. She got her implants 7 years ago. Has 2 children that she breastfeed, one is now 4 and the other is 10 months old.
She had not had any problems, but does have plans to get another implat sometime this year.
Reply:You are so BLESSED that you are still able to breastfeed your babies! I have saline implants and they have caused me nothing but problems with nursing. There is so much pressure in my milk ducts that I am always able to produce ALOT of milk, but I cannot release the milk because it's almost as if the ducts are crushed or something. When I first got implants the doctor told me I should have absolutely no problems nursing, but that hasn't been the case. I nursed my first one fine (pre-implant days) and my subsequent 3 children I was not able to nurse (post implant days) Certainly keep nursing, your child will not suffer for it! By the way, I nursed the last 3 until I completely stopped producing anything. What causes your body to send the signal to continue production is an empty breast, and my breast was never able to fully empty, so I was only able to nurse for about 4 weeks (pretty much non-stop though, because I could only get out about an ounce per hour...frustrating but worth it for their sakes!)

What causes your body to send the signal to continue production is an empty breast, and my breast was never able to fully empty, so I was only able to nurse for about 4 weeks (pretty much non-stop though, because I could only get out about an ounce per hour...frustrating but worth it for their sakes!)
Do breast implants really have to be redone every 10 years?
I was thinking about getting implants in a few years and was wondering if they really have to be redone every 10 years. I heard this yesterday but I wasn't sure how true it was. Anyone that knows please answer! Thanks!
Do breast implants really have to be redone every 10 years?
Generally, they do. Each implant has a certain lifetime, after which the risk of leaks, rupture, or just general deterioration increases measurably. You can leave them in longer, and some women have done so successfully, but the horror stories I've heard (and seen!) don't seem worth it to me. Also, some women have experienced problems long before the published lifetime of their implants, so it varies depending on your physiology and physical activity.

Do woman who get breat implants have issues to begin with?
Why do woman get brest implants. Is it just to look good or does it?
mean they have psych issues and low self esteem. It seems like a lot of females are doing it now it is a little ridiculous, do men like that better honestly if there woman looks like that.
Do woman who get breat implants have issues to begin with?
Because too many women dont know the meaning of happiness, and they think they'll find it in a set of new boobs. What they dont know is how friggin wrong they are.
Reply:My sister got breast implants because she felt so self-conscious. She felt extremely unattractive with smaller breasts, and got them to feel better about her appearance. She was always beautiful, but now she's more secure in herself.

Office in san diego where its easy to get financed for breast implants%26gt;?
Hi,
My office is in San Clemente although I might be a bit north for you. Most plastic surgeons have financing in the office to which patients can apply. As long as your credit is OK, you are usually approved.
Good luck to you

The purpose of having the cochlear implants.
What benefits to expect from having the surgery?
I need help on writing a thesis statement on deafness/cochlear implants, could someone help me out, please?
This is very hard to answer everyone has a different effect, but most likely they will be able to hear things they could not hear before, but again that is saying the surgery worked!
I will say I am not a fan of Cochlear Implants, why because they no longer fit into the Deaf Culture or into the Hearing Culture.

Can I wear mascara or false eyelashes if I have lens implants?
I had cataract surgery about 3 years ago and had lens implants. I seem to be afraid to wear mascara.
Can I wear mascara or false eyelashes if I have lens implants?
My aunt got laser-eye surgery and I think she had to wait 6 months maybe? I know for the first year she had to put eye drops in every so often. But she wears eyeliner and mascara now. :D
Reply:You should be fine, if you have any concerns i would consult a doctor. I am sure they would have told you after surgery you shouldent use such and such.

How much do dental implants cost ?
My teeth are terrible and even though I clean them twice a day I have lost 4 back teeth and have another 3 chipped . Obviously they won't grow back so I'd like to know how much dental implants would cost .Not false teeth .
How much do dental implants cost ?
That is a difficult question to answer. Implants are a 3 step process that usually takes 3-6months start to finish. Placing the implant, placing the abutment, and seating the crown on the abutment. Assuming you don't need any bone augmentation or any other procedure prior to placing the implant, you would be looking at about $3000 per tooth in the midwest.
Set up a consultation with a dentist to get a plan together. You will likely see an oral surgeon or a periodontist to place the actual implant and the dentist will place the crown.
Reply:Dan W. gave you a great answer. Prices vary and it's a long procedure from start to finish.
Talk to your dentist and develop a plan.

For the women who have gotten breast implants?
I want to know all the details. How much was it? Are you happy with them? Can you still have babies after your implants (i mean feed a baby) Were there any complications? Please let me know everything. Iam considering getting some implants. Iam a size B cup. What size were you before and after?
For the women who have gotten breast implants?
hi! I think I paid $4,000. I am not overly happy with them, but my husband loves them! I am picky. But the Dr. told me what he thought I should get according to my frame...but I feel he should've made them much bigger. I mean I went from a B to a "heavy" C. And before I had it done, I read all sorts of articles and sooo many people out there had wished they had gone bigger. That was the main complaint and my friend had hers done and she went huge and I just didn't want to be that big. So I was scared to say a "D"....and he agreed I should go to the heavy C or very light D...whatever that really means. But I think the implants are set a little low because all my bathingsuit tops look weird and my boobs hang out. Stuff fits me weird now so I am not overly happy with the job he did. But honestly it is still a big improvement. I went back to get an estimate on having them enlarged a little to lift them back up and he wanted $3000. WHAT??!!
Anyways- it is perfectly safe to breastfeed too. Barring no problems. I am 9 months pregos right now and will breastfeed as long as I can and I got my implants last year in January.
I definitely feel better about my appearance and am happier now than I was with my nubs. I am glad I did it, even tho I think they are a little low....make sure to do thorough research on the Dr. and be sure of the size you want....I say D is safe! Sounds huge but its not.....unless you are tiny and weigh like 115 lbs! =)
Reply:They can be very expensive, $5000 - $20,000 and up, but you get what you pay for. Yes, you can still have babies, and even nurse. If they are placed below the pectoral muscles, you are going to have a lot of pain when using your arms for awhile. Any operation can have complications, such as bleeding, infection, death, allergic reactions, etc. The special complication of breast implants is that they can break, and that the body can react to them in a way to form a hard capsule around the implant.
One more thing you ought to know: if you are doing this for yourself, to feel better about yourself, or to help you fit into clothes better, you are likely to be happy. However, don't do it for guys. Believe it or not, guys don't really care about this, and saline implants in a thin woman can give the breast a very weird, crinkly feeling on the side of the breast, not very sexy to touch, and not very attractive.

To women with breast augmentations...How long did it take your implants to begin to settle in the pocket?
I got a breast augmentation 11 days ago. I was a 36B and went to a 36D (500cc's) with smooth, round Mentor implants placed submuscularly through my crease. I am just wondering how long it will take before my implants begin to settle in the pocket. I am a 24 yr. old physically active female, and as such, have very strong pectoral muscle tissue. My implants ride high right now. (The highest point is about 2 in. from my collarbone. Any info on how LONG it took any other women's implants to start to settle in the pocket would be extremely helpful, and would help with my patience. lol.
What are some Bad things about Breast implants?
well i dont know if i want implants. but i do want my breast to look perkier. i guess i may need implants. but i want to keep my size d but i want them perky. how can i get this?
and what are some negative things about them?
What are some Bad things about Breast implants?
You don't need implants, just a breast lift. Contact Board Certified Plastic Surgeons in your area.
Reply:Breast implants don't feel as nice as real breasts.
You can lose all sensation in your nipples.
You might not be able to breast feed after the operation.
The operation is painful.
The operation, implants and consultations are expensive.
It can take a long time for the scarring and swelling to repair after the operation.
Most people can tell the difference between real and fake anyway.
It's an operation done entirely out of vanity, so it's shallow.
Reply:With breast implants, you an get really sick from getting them, it doesn't happen to everyone but it happens to some people. A lot of guys don't like them. And if you have a baby, you wouldn't be able to breast feed it because milk wouldn't come out, something else would.
If you want your breasts to look perkier then all you have to do is wear push-up bras. There is no way for them to be perkier, I don't think even with surgery if you want them to stay the size they are. usually small=perky big=less perky or sagging.
Reply:The big negative thing about implants is when you are later checked for mammograms (detecting breast cancer) the implants reduce the detection due to the fact the implants are dense in tissue, they 'hide' the cancers! which could be treatable.
Your better off havin a 'lift' rather than implants.
Reply:they look unnatural and also surgery is painful and can lead to pain and numbness and cannot always breastfeed in future. I really couldnt say but some women say they get more confidence. I will stick to my push up bra and just hide them under woollie jumpers LOL
Reply:well if they were to just so happen explode while inside your boobs you'd have a problem there
Reply:if u get them its harder to find cancer.. if you do ever have it it will be a lot harder to know .
Reply:breast implats can pop inside you

Why do so many exotic dancers in Atlanta get implants in the glutes.?
I have found that, when looking at pictures and videos, a lot of dancers and "video girls" get butt implants. Can someone tell me why that is?
Why do so many exotic dancers in Atlanta get implants in the glutes.?

Is it possible to breast feed when you have implants?
I'm seriously thinking about getting breast implants in the next year or 2, and I plan on having a baby down the road. is it physically possible to breast feed with them, and if it is....is it safe?
Is it possible to breast feed when you have implants?
Yes it is possible and safe dont worry. The milk ducts are directly behind the nipple and a implant does not come between the two. I wouldnt recommend implants or atleast till after you have the baby because some people's breast sag a little after having a baby and if you want implants afterward both can be corrected.
Reply:Yes it is possible but I would make a suggestion to you to not get the implants until after you have had your children and your breasts are stretched. Your breasts will already be large with the implants and then you put breast milk on top of that, your breasts will be way huge and stretched out after you stop nursing. Implants can also make breast feeding difficult. Talk to your surgeon and a good surgeon will be totally honest with you about the risks and benefits.
Reply:get them after, if you REALLY think you need them. I cannot imagine , especially when you dry up and they SWELL ! It hurts. Why involve something else in there ?
Reply:Try reading this, and any other sites concerning this topic. I just used google and got hundreds.
Reply:Just wait until you are finished with child bearing.
Reply:From what I have read, it depends on the kind of surgery you have. If you had an incision under your armpit or under your breast, it should be okay. If you had the incision that is under your areola, you could have problems.
Reply:Breast implant surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Reply:no it is not possible
Reply:As long as the nipple is not moved the chances of breastfeeding after implants is very high. Most modern implants are placed behind the muscle wall, in this way they do not interfere with milk ducts/milk production at all.
Of course if the nipple is moved most of the ducts are severed, in many cases some regrow and it may be enough to allow you to breastfeed. In other cases it prevents breastfeeding, or at least prevents exclusive breastfeeding.
Silicone is also not a worry. There is a small increase in the silicone content of breastmilk if silicone implants are used but formula still contains far, far more silicone. Also the silicone used in breast implants is the same used to coat foods and in certain infant gas drops.
However it is always advisable to speak to the surgeon about it, and to find a surgeon who has women who have breastfeed successfully.
There is a lot of info on specific surgical techniques here:

"The type of silicone polymer used in implants has extremely large molecules, which would be highly unlikely to pass into mother's milk or be absorbed in an infant's gastrointestinal tract. Analyses of breastmilk samples from mothers whose implants have ruptured have found no silicone in the milk. We ingest silicone compounds through cosmetics such as lipstick, over the counter drugs such as antacids, and the coating of fresh fruits and vegetables. Silicone is also used to lubricate syringes and to make silicone nipples for baby bottles and pacifiers. Mylicon drops, which contain the same polymer as silicone breast implants, are given to colicky babies as a gas reducer and work by coating the digestive system. In short, breastfeeding with silicone implants should be encouraged."

While silicon can be detected in the milk of women with silicon breast implants, the amount of silicon found in formula is significantly higher. If a woman has silicone implants, 55.45ng/ml (nanograms per milliliter) of silicon (a proxy for silicone) can be found in her milk. In mothers who did not have breast implants, approximately 51.05ng/ml of silicon was present in the breastmilk. Twenty-six brands of formula have been tested for silicon, however, and the levels were significantly higher: from 746 to 13,811 ng/ml. We still do not know the effect of large amounts of silicon on an infant.[4]

Anybody know anything about getting government grants to cover the cost of my four dental implants?
The problem is that I have had braces for 10 years due to the fact that I was born without all four of my canines which resulted in an utter NIGHTMARE. So I have just had fake teeth glued to my braces. But im about to graduate from college with my Bachelor's degree. However, my degree is basically useless if I dont go on to grad school which i want to do. But my braces are fixing to come off so I have to find a way to pay for these implants which cost anywhere from 12-17,000 dollars..I simply cannot afford to go on to graduate school which will not allow me to work at all. I need help!
Anybody know anything about getting government grants to cover the cost of my four dental implants?
Sometimes colleges of Dentistry will do dental work for free or for discount. You should check what your college's insurance policy covers because mine does cover dental work as well as health.
The government does not, to the best of my knowledge, give grants to individual people for health care who are not on medicare or medicade.
Reply:Grants are not given for dental work.
I suggest you check with your local Dept of Health for any dental assistance programs available in your community. Or if you live nearby a university that offers dentistry courses, you may contact a student and have them do your dental work for you for free.
There are no grants for paying bills, for getting out of debt or for buying a car. Grants are free, but it means OBLIGATION. You will be obligated to do as the grant sets out to do. Grants have objectives, and your purpose must fit the objective of the grant.
For one, you have to write the grant application and the grant application is not a simple document - you have to explain how your purpose for applying for the grant fits well with the objectives set out by the grant.
There is a stringent review process through a committee. You will compete with other applicants for the grant money, and this grant review committee will evaluate the merits of each proposal. Only those that they feel exemplifies the objective of the grant will be approved.

Nonetheless, you can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov - these are two sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grants. Does getting saline implants increase your chance of getting breast cancer?
i know when you get your breasts checked, the implants make it harder to see the breast tissue.
Does getting saline implants increase your chance of getting breast cancer?
Breast implants do not increase your risk for breast cancer. They may cause a slight problem in reading mammograms and they do make breast biopsies very difficult if you should ever need one.
Reply:Hello,
There were many studies of this issue during the silicone gel implant investigation of the 1990's. The largest of the studies from Canada showed no increased likelihood of breast cancer in women with implants versus women without implants.

I keep hearing that women can get butt implants to make it look bigger. I just wanna know if it is true cause Iam interested.

Are dental implants covered by any insurance?
I just recently had 3 teeth extracted and i wanna replace them with implants %26amp; i just want to know if they are covered by insurance at all. I have keystone Mercy.
Are dental implants covered by any insurance?
Hi
Insurance for dental implants is a "tricky" topic in more ways than one with many advertisers using this term to get your attention – but the truth is much more complicated.
Although dental implants are now common practice and are used in many cases, insurance companies categorize them as cosmetic dentistry. Most insurance policies don't cover cosmetic dentistry and dental implants specifically.
Dental insurance plans vary in their coverage. Most, if not all of them, offer routine maintenance, basic care and emergencies. After researching the subject and looking around for a plan that would cover a significant portion of the bill – I can confidently tell you that http://www.dental-implants-guide.com/ins...
Good luck

Where in London can I get Lens implants?
I'm too short-sighted to get LASEK (-8), but would like to look into lens implants. I initially went to Optimax, as the initial quote they gave me on the phone wasn't bad. This then became gradually more expensive as I went through the screening process.
I am reluctant to use a business that has such a flippant attitude to their customers - any other recommendations?
Where in London can I get Lens implants?
Don't know why you are calling them flippant.
The cost of surgery depends on what is done, the phone quote is based on the easy case as they don't know anything about you. As you are screened, they find out more about you --- your prescription, your corneal thickness, your aberraton profile. It then becomes apparent whether custom LASIK, PRK, LASEK, contact lens implants or clear lens extraction will work best for you.
If you call up a car dealer and ask "how much does a car cost", you will get a low quote. Once there and they find out you want power windows, auto transmission, air conditioning and a sunroof the price will increase.

Why is it that all of a sudden white women are getting butt implants and collagen lips?
why is it that not too long ago white women talked bad about black women having round butts and full lips, and now all of a sudden you see white women trying to get butt implants and butt injections and lip injections trying to look like us black women?

what can u say, some ladies will do anything to look perfect for that certain someone no matter what it takes.
Reply:the media portrays beauty a certain way that attracts society to believe that's the way they should look... not because they want to look black. and "big lips and butt" is just a stereotype. this question is actually quite discriminatory because if this was a white person asking why black women are "trying to look like us white women", it would be considered terribly offensive and racist.

What is the best alternative to breast implants.?
I don't want to get implants because they look fake but I want larger breast. Does ANYONE know of the best alternate bust enhancement pill or cream?
What is the best alternative to breast implants.?
if you aren't opposed to lifting weights at the gym you should try doing some weights machines for your chest. things like butterfly press, rows, etc. any maching that will work your pectoral muscles. will give you the appearance of bigger cleavage. my personal trainer told me that.
Reply:dont do it i bet you look perfect with out
Reply:I would say the best alternative to breast implants would be a push up bra with padding. They provide support to make your breasts look bigger and fuller, and they dont add risk to your health as a cream or pill would.
I hope this helps!
Reply:Push up bras are definitely a must with padding. The other thing you can do is learn how to do push-ups correctly (they can be done standing and up against the wall). Keeping your chest muscles toned will help the girls stay perky and supported. If you decide to invest in a cream or pill, you're probably doing harm to your body or wasting money.
Reply:Girl, just get a really good push up bra. It works for Paris Hilton. She has really little boobs but when she puts one on they look bigger, yet too high. Dont get one that pushes them up really high, that looks stupid.
Reply:push-up bra or those vinyl pads you can insert in your bra.
Reply:an over abundance of self confidence.
Reply:Try a water bra... it wears just like a normal bra, but it's got water in it, so it makes your breasts appear bigger.
Reply:chicken fillets?? They go inside your bra apparently.

What are some recent experiences with brest implants?
I know that they used to be terrible and very scary stories about these in the late 90's. My wife has commented that she would like some. I want to do more reseach on this topic first. Don't get me wrong I love my wife and her body the way they are right now, she wants the boob job. So are brest implants better now or not?
What are some recent experiences with brest implants?
As a mammographer, I am not a fan of breast implants. As we know, early detection of breast cancer DOES save lives. It is very hard to find an early breast cancer on mammography, even with improved techniques. The implant hides the breast tissue on the film. Please research this aspect of it. If you still decide to have implants, have them put in BEHIND the chest wall. That will allow a bit more breast tissue to be imaged during mammography. Good luck to you and please do your homework!
Here are what some "experts" say. You can go to the links for additional info:
Breast implant interference with imaging breast tissue, with between 22% and 83% of mammographically visualizable breast tissue obscured by breast implants. http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/breastimplants/b...
In women without implants, mammography detected 67% of cancers. In women with implants, mammography detected 45% of cancers.
http://www.breastcancer.org/breast_impla...
Screening mammography missed 55% of breast cancers in women with implants, compared with only 33% among women without implants.

I have also “handled” probably over 2,000 breasts with implants. The far majority do not feel natural. This is especially true when the implants are about 5 years or older.

has women's experience with implants and you can ask them yourself!
I personally would never get implants unless I had a horrible accident and lost my chest. I actually had a reduction because I was a 38J now I am a happy 38C.
But it is their choice and their body so they can do whatever they want to.
Reply:Surgical mutilation. And absolutely unnecessary. No type of surgery is going to help someone who isn't happy with themselves and their body.
Then, of course, there's all of this:
Reply:Just think about Anna Nicole Smith and implants.
Did it help her self esteem? No. In one of the articles, it said her chest was sore and it was uncomfortable to sleep, especially on her stomach.
I wonder how her implants felt when she was pregnant.
Her life, seemingly so glamorous, was really so sad. The men say she was gorgeous. Me as a female, I think she was
a cartoon of a real woman. To men, would you really want to live with her?

I've just weaned my 15 mth old and my breasts are smaller than before. Should I wait to get implants?
We are planning on eventually having another but since I have already breastfed and I hardly increased in cup size would it be a bad idea if I went ahead on breast implants?
I've just weaned my 15 mth old and my breasts are smaller than before. Should I wait to get implants?
thats depends on you i would find out if you will be able to breast feed again if you get the implants and if not then what would be more important to you bigger boobs or nursing again
Reply:I personally think it is always a bad idea with implants - it makes so vulnerable, and everything becomes a little strange - and it will hurt you and so on.
Can't you just be proud of your breasts? That they did a wonderful job? And are much more beautiful and lively than they would be with those things squeezed in there...
That would be much better - and wouldn't your husband be very happy if you would do that? I think that is much nicer for everybody. So what if they are a little smaller, really...?
Reply:I would personally invest in a nice bra to make your breasts appear larger and firmer until I was sure I was done having babies....
I plan to have 4 and to breastfeed them all, I am pregnant with #2 now....
I plan to spend some of the money I have saved on formula with them on some work done on my breasts (definitely a lift, and maybe implants) when I am finished.

Reply:I've considered the same thing, but I am waiting until after we have our next child..and are done bfing them.
You CAN breastfeed with implants.
However, you will have alot more challenges with it..like..it depends on how the surgery is done..certain ways will cause nerve damage, and youll have problems with let down..and again, based on the way they do it..it could end up causing you to not be able to produce milk at all.
Might as well wait, that way..once you are done having kids..you have can your body back AND brand new boobs!
Reply:in most cases you can breastfeed with implants but another pregnancy may change the shape and Look of them so it might be a waist
Reply:definately wait, i cant imagine the damage to your skin if you get prego again with implants in and your boobs get big. and would you be able to breast feed your next one??

What to tell kids about breast implants?
I am having breast implants soon, and I am worried my 9 yr old son will notice that moms boobs are bigger. Like in a bathing suit. If he asked what should I say or do you think he would even notice? My husband thinks I am weird for worring about it, and thinks he wont notice a thing. I am a B now going to a full C cup.
What to tell kids about breast implants?
I know exactly where u are coming from, I just got implants in August. I have a 9 year old also, and me and her are very close and open with each other. I went from a 36C to a 36DD. I (only weigh 128 lbs, so I knew it would be very obvious) anyway, I told her honestly that I was going to have surgery and may not be feeling well for a day or so, so that she wouldn't wonder what was wrong with me after surgery when she saw me in bed. I waited for her to ask "what kind" of surgery I was having, so I told her "well, after having u girls, my body has changed, mommy is unhappy with her breasts, and I'm going to have a special surgery to make them bigger and nicer" she looked at me funny %26amp; said "huh? ok" then after surgery she knew everything was ok. she even fetched bottles of water for me the day I got home from surgery, and made sure mom was "o.k" and even though I was sore and sleepy, she knew not to worry that this was a minor surgery and that I would be better in a few days :) She doesnt really ask about them now, but I'm glad I told her, so she didnt notice a difference and fell like I hid something from her. Every mom is different though, I hope u figure it out. I'd go with honesty though, 9 year olds are much smarter then we think, and know more than we realize.
~good luck, %26amp; congrats on your implants, you're going to luv them!!~!
Reply:If your son asks you about your breasts, then you can just sit him down and tell him about your reasoning on the implants.
since 4th and 5th grade boys can usually be pretty immature about things I'd just give him a vague idea of what the implants are fore.
Having been a 9yr old boy myself hadn't even started looking at girls yet so i would agree with your husband about your son even noticing anything different about his mother. plus your son will probably be already used to to your changes by the time swimsuit season comes around. (this coming from someone living in Ohio)
IN SHORT: Don't worry about a thing, he'll be used to you by the time swimsuit season comes around.
Reply:funny you say that, I wont be answering your question much but I just thought i'd mention it.
there is a book coming out, sort of for kids, called something like "beautiful mom", which is a story about a mom getting plastic surgery and she's explaining to her kid(s) what will be happening and why she'll be in bandages and why she'll look different and whatnot.
Im sorry, i'm not really answering your question, I just wanted to mention this because I read about it only yesterday.
Reply:The last thing in the world that you'll ever have to worry about your son asking you about is your boobs.
Maybe that would have been a concern before he was like 6 or so, but trust me, no boy his age or older is going to ask his mom about her breasts.
Besides, he'll probably figure it out on his own.
Reply:Well, I doubt he'll say anything!
You can just tell him, if he asks, that mommy had a growth spurt.
You could be honest and say that you went to the doctor, and made a change that makes you feel prettier. Tell him you thought it out and made a careful decision to change the way you look.
You know, though, at 9, he's probably at the point where he'd feel awkward bringing it up... he may not even ask at all!
Reply:He is going to know something is up, a 9 yr old is usually smarter then people give them credit for. Why not try being honest. I personally can not see spending that kind of money on boobs - but I also believe that a person should be what they can to make them selves feel better. Good Luck and I hope you have a quick recovery.
Reply:Children does not notice the size of mom's breast. Going from a B to a C is not going to impress your son with a lot of questions.
My opinion. You are obsession about your breast and taking it out on your child. Enjoy your new breast -- yes they will feel like everyone is looking but really they are not. Remember why you are having surgery... it is for self-confidence...
Have fun with your new look... forget about your son.
Reply:I didn't search every single answer but how is he going to miss the recovery part? Is he going to someone elses house for a week or so? Just tell him the truth (unless he is), he will see you are getting better, he'll be fine. I wouldn't tell him before the fact- the idea of it is scary before he sees you'll be okay.
Reply:I doubt he'll notice, at age 9. He might start looking at other Mom's but not his own, lol. But even if he did, he's unlikely to notice a difference unless you went from flat to Pamela Anderson overnight. And even if you did, trust me, a 9 year old boy will not ask about his Mom's breasts.
Reply:I may be wrong but I don't think mom's boobs are the first thing on a 9 year old child's mind. He will probably not notice anything. If he asks you why they look larger, tell him "I went to the doctor and he fixed them for me so my clothes will look better on me". After that he will say "oh OK", or "mom you are always pretty".
Reply:He's 9, he's not blind or stupid. He's going to notice...for one mommy is going to be in pain for a bit.
You need to be honest with him, tell him why you are getting them and let him know what to expect...you may also want to tell him it's private and that you don't want him talking about it with his friends..but that he can ask you anything.
Reply:When he is old enough, you should explain to him that sometimes people change their bodies because they are insecure. Then make sure to teach him to feel good about himself the way that he is so that he will never feel the need to surgically alter his body.
Reply:Wow, that's a tough one. He probably won't ask about them but if he does just say, "Sometimes mommies' breasts get bigger..." idk. And leave it at that. Don't go into detail about surgury and all that.

Breast Enlargement - to all the ladies that have had Implants under the muscle?
I have recently had surgery (10 days ago) - implants under the muscle - I was told I could take off the strap around my body 10 days after which I did and after a few hours the implants inside seem to be rising up! Has this happened to anybody and if so is it a case of leaving them be and they will relax eventually on there own? When they rise they look awful from the side view - i'm really quite worried. A sports bra doesn't prevent this happening either.

Can chemotherapy ports be implanted in patients with breast implants?
If a patient underwent breast cancer reconstruction surgery and it resulted in the use of two saline implants, can she later have a chemotherapy port implanted should she be diagnosed with cancer again and chemo is needed.

If the implant interfered, they do sometimes put ports in your upper arm.

Why do cochlear implants work better for younger children?
I'm currently taking a Special Needs education class and we're studying the deaf and hard of hearing. My textbook doesn't have the reason why they work better it just states that cochlear implants work better for younger children. I'm having trouble finding out why. Does anybody know? Thank you so much! :)
Why do cochlear implants work better for younger children?
That is only partially true. Implants work best in children who are born deaf versus adults who are born deaf. This is because the brain has more plasticity in a child and can change and learn to hear in a different way easier than an adult who was born deaf and gets an implant later in life. Also the area of the brain responsible for hearing is left unstimulated by sound for a long time and in an adult that is born deaf and getting an implant it takes a long time for the information that is given by implant to mean anything to brain.
On the other side - if an adult has hearing through most of their life and goes deaf the implant is even more successful since they have already learned speech and language. In some cases like this an adult can hear 80% of words without lipreading the first day the device is turned on.
Whatever way you go though the implant is a phenomenal device and works wonders for many many people giving them the opportunity to hear things that otherwise they would not have.
Reply:Temporal cortex the hearing center in brain is amenable to change in structure and function in children. That`s why they get good results.
Reply:Simply because everything about the child is growing. The nerves in their ears and their brains. But if someone was born deaf and then at age 30 they wanted a implant then it would not be very successful. At that point in life you stop growing and for the brain to learn something it has never experienced comes difficult to say the least.
Wish I could give a better answer but seems pretty simple to me. It would seem to be the same as a child being able to learn different languages at a young age.
Another point I know someone who went deaf suddenly. They got a implant and could hear fairly well right aways. On my case I always had slight hearing lost but for 15 years I slowly got worst until I got the implant. It is taking me time to "learn" to hear again but I'm getting there. Since I haven't heard well for such a long time it is taking longer to hear better compared to the person who hear only a short amount of time before loosing hearing.
Reply:Its because a child learns allot faster than an adult. As a child, you will be able to hear and learn the spoken language allot easier than if you were an adult. Children will have no problem at all adapting to a life with the implant, but adults will have to learn how to live a whole new way of life.
Reply:The biggest problem with deafness is poor language development if the child becomes deaf before language development or is born deaf. The earlier a deaf child can develop hearing, the better the language skills, including writing skills.
People who become deaf after learning language skills generally retain their written skills, but their speech can become virtually incomprehensible, however there is a wide range of loss of understandability.
I worked on the first intracochlear implants in the early seventies.
Reply:I am a Speech and Hearing Major. Language development vital years occurs before the age of 8. After that language aquistion is very difficult. Add a hearing loss/cochlear implant too that and it makes it very challenging becuase they maybe 10 but their ears would be one.

What do you think about butt implants?
We've all heard of the breast implants, but many people actually get butt implants. What do you think about this and would you do it?
What do you think about butt implants?
I would not get them, even though I have the typical not-so-rotund white girl butt. What guarantees that they stay in place? What if over time they droop down and you have fake saddlebags?! Plus it's just plain weird. Just deal with your body, the whole curvy butt look will probably go out of style soon and then you'll be stuck with a huge fake butt that you'll have to get surgically removed.
Reply:Bad idea. Painful and not good if you gain or loose weight later
Best is targeted workouts selecting the glutes, targeted diet with proteins and vitamin supplements abd a pill called Femimore. The combination gave me and some friends the butt we wanted

No I would never. I am perfectly happy with my breasts %26amp; rear end.
Reply:i have heard of butt implants. know a couple of peeps that have had them. just dont over do it. me myself i wouldnt get one.
Reply:i think thatif people think that their butt is too small.. then they should get them.. and everyone has a reason that they would get something fixed.. so if they really think they do even if they really may not... i say who cares!! its their butt
Reply:Yep, they do exist and interest has grown in the last several years, since J.Lo popularized the look. Very few plastic surgeons actually offer them at their practice. Because of the part of the body we're talking about, there's more risk of the implant shifting or slipping. Even if you don't run or bike or partake in other vigorous activities, most of us sit and walk... a lot. So it's simply a very vulnerable area to have an implant. So, if it's something you truly want to consider, just do a lot of research (as you are now) and be SURE to find a butt implant specialist before choosing to get them. Keep in mind, also, that there might be other less risky cosmetic procedures that could have a similar effect, but not require an implant, like a butt lift or liposuction of the thighs and hips. Best of luck!

Is it a very risky surgery to have breast implants?
I'm considering breast augmentation because I'm very self conscious of my breasts. I have a B size cut, and I wish for them to be bigger. I want to feel sexy and have guys look at me, but I'm unsure of having breast implants. Is it a really risky surgery?
Is it a very risky surgery to have breast implants?
Hello,
It is usually pretty simple surgery unless you need more than just the implants. Patients tend to be happier though when they want the surgery to look better not only to catch the attention of men. Internal motivation goes along with patient satisfaction.
Good luck!
Reply:It is major surgery. Possible complications include: Deflation of the implant, Interference with mammography, Contraction of the scar tissue capsule around the implant (capsular contracture), Replacement or revision surgeries, Calcium deposits in the tissue capsule around the implant, Changes in nipple and breast sensation, Shifting of the implant. You will have to evaluate if you'd want the looks of the guys so badly to risk getting any of those complications. If you are young, you can always wait a few years and let the decision come to you. In the meantime, the techniques get better and better and the risk of complications gets lower.
Reply:surgery has come a long way, but every surgery has risks.
Also, consider getting a deep cut or pulling a muscle on accident. Even from stuff like that, people can't use that muscle or part of the body for weeks. imagine surgery, you'd be in pain for a bit.
but usually, everything is ok. surgery always has risks though.
Reply:Sure, spend money on the surgery. Then start to talk with men, only to have them gawk at your breasts and talk TO your breasts and not with you. Throw in a thinner frame on a six foot tall body and dating can get really frustrating. I speak from experience. It finally took putting a personal ad with no photo and the grace of God to finally meet the man who is now my husband. Ten years, several weight fluctuations, including a pregnancy, later, he still loves me for me.
Reply:There is always a risk with surgery. Don't get it done just to have men look at you.
Do research and find a reputable surgeon and get a consultation if you want. They will give you some statistics about recovery and risk. They are usually pretty frank, as they are required to disclose the info to potential patients.

When the egg implants in the uterus do you have pain?
when the egg implants in the uterus do you have pain?
when a egg is fertilized do you feel pain in your ovary? depending on which ovary the egg got fertilized in?
When the egg implants in the uterus do you have pain?
A fertilized egg is barely visible. You do not have pain upon implantation. You can have spotting, also known as implantation bleeding.
You also do not have pain upon fertilization, which happens in the fallopian tube, not the ovary. Some women do have pain upon ovulation, but this is from the cyst, which contains the egg, bursting.
All the best.
Reply:There usually isn't pain, but it can feel like mild cramps. That's how I knew I was pregnant, I had cramps for 3 days and never got my period. I took a test and sure enough, it was positive!
Reply:You can have some slight cramp-like feeling during ovulation %26amp; some spotting with implantation, so yeah, sort of. Not all women experience this though

Reply:No you do not have pain. You may have some light bleeding.
Reply:Nope. You shouldn't.
Reply:no pain for either, it's way to small

How much dose it cost for really big breast implants?
My girlfriend is wanting to get breast implants, and we both agree she should be really big. How much would it cost for her to go from a 36A to something like an E or F cup?
How much dose it cost for really big breast implants?
5,000 DOLLARZ
FOR BOTH
Reply:WTF?? does she even know how big a E or F is?? my mom is a DD, and she's large, and thhats still HUGE on her.
im a 32A, and if i ever get implants, i would go for a C. anything more would be just insane %26amp; too heavy!
i dounbt thats size would even fit on her chest. maybe 1 E or F. but not 2.

Reply:Why would you want her to be soooo big that she'll want a breast reduction in 2 years because her breasts are so big and heavy that her back hurts? You have no idea how many patients I have that come in and get breast reductions because they were so big and heavy it caused chronic back pain. Be realistic. You want them to look as natural as possible and not fake, and going to an E or F cup is going to look completely fake. Be realistic for her size. If she's petite a full B small C would look great, or if she's average size a full C small D would look great. Anything bigger is going to probably not look that great. Cost wise, you have to realize that insurance doesn't pay for cosmetic surgery, so you're going to end up with probably a $10,000 bill including the anesthesia, surgery, medications, etc. I hope you are not trying to talk your girlfriend into something so large because YOU want them that big. Don't be selfish...she's the one that's going to have to live with them and the only one that ultimately has to be happy with them.
Reply:Are you insane? E or F cup?? "WE BOTH AGREE SHE SHOULD BE REALLY BIG"? That is so chauvinistic...
First off, the implants alone are around $3000-5000, and that's just the implants. You also have to pay for the anesthesia, medical facility fee, prescriptions, surgical garments, medical testing, or any other charges related to pre- and post-operative care. Oh and insurance will not cover anything unless she was deformed in some sort of way, and it doesn't sound anything like that.
E or F? She'll wish she hadn't....
Reply:dang boy do you want her to be a hunch back by 40? no one in the right mind would want to be that big and medically im not sure if its possible
shes a 36A so she wont have enough breast tissue to cover that implant . they can only stretch it so much
make sure she wants it for her and not to please you........!

What is the youngest age you can get breast implants?
i am 16 [young i know] and i wear a 34b. i dont think its proportionate to my body because i am asian with a big butt and my breasts do not look proportionate to it. i am thinking about getting implants in a year or two. how much would it cost?
What is the youngest age you can get breast implants?
I got my breasts done a few months ago. Including surgery, before/after appointments, the after-bra, pain killers, and antibiotics I paid around $6500. But, my doctor had an amazing reputation and was located in an expensive area so you probably won't pay that much. I understand what it's like to be you, I started saving when I was 16 and got them at 20, I would suggest you start saving now and do A LOT of research and have A LOT of questions for your doctor when you have a consultation.
Make sure you find a great surgeon and pay the extra money for them because you pay for what you get. And don't listen to people trying to scare you out of it either like some of the people who have replied to this. If you find a good, experienced (more than 10 years) surgeon, you'll be perfectly fine. NO ONE has ever died from breast implants...the only people who die are people with health problems who die from other complications during/after surgery (such as if they are alergic to anesthesia). BUT if you have a good, qualified doctor they will run tests to ensure you won't have these problems.
Reply:34B is GOOD!!! You don't need surgery.
I know many women who got theirs at 18. They all suffered from some type of complications so I really don't recommend the procedure.
Besides, implants need to be replaced within 10 years (some of my friends needed it within 3), and this costs more than the initial insertion. So you might be spending another $10,000 soon after you drop $6000 on the initial insertion.
Many girls are excited the first few months after getting their implants, but the complications start coming about 6 months later. My best friend discovered 6 to 12 months after surgery that she had permanently lost her nipular sensitivity, so just be ready for the consequences. Remember that plastic surgeons are salesmen and they often don't tell you the truth.
Reply:I think a doctor won't work on someone under 18 (unless he's in it ALL for the money, in which case I would suggest not to go for him)
however, a girl in my area was 18 and she just got implants. she died during surgery.
I don't understand why anyone would put their life at risk for something so stupid. it's sooo fake and obvious too.
just get padding or something. better to fake it than be dead.
and breast implants are going out of style
Reply:34B is a really good size. You don't need more. In a couple of years they're going to grow again on their own. Also that surgery costs many thousands of dollars. Don't do it.
Reply:your breasts don't stop growing until you're about 20 years old or so. i would wait until then to even seriously consider it.
Reply:. I never heard of a 'legal' age. But I can't imagine a good doctor working on any woman under 18.

Hello,
It is usually pretty simple surgery unless you need more than just the implants.

Ten years, several weight fluctuations, including a pregnancy, later, he still loves me for me.

Do research and find a reputable surgeon and get a consultation if you want. They will give you some statistics about recovery and risk. They are usually pretty frank, as they are required to disclose the info to potential patients.
