It might sound silly-i dont know. The thought just hit me. I mean it just seems like there could be a danger with a baby feeding off of something that is so close to silicon or whatever it is they make those of.

The type of silicone polymer used in implants has extremely large molecules, which would be highly unlikely to pass into mother's milk or be absorbed in an infant's gastrointestinal tract. Analyses of breastmilk samples from mothers whose implants have ruptured have found no silicone in the milk. We ingest silicone compounds through cosmetics such as lipstick, over the counter drugs such as antacids, and the coating of fresh fruits and vegetables. Silicone is also used to lubricate syringes and to make silicone nipples for baby bottles and pacifiers. Mylicon drops, which contain the same polymer as silicone breast implants, are given to colicky babies as a gas reducer and work by coating the digestive system. In short, breastfeeding with silicone implants should be encouraged.

Silicone is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. It is quite doubtful that nursing with silicone breast implants would be harmful to your baby. Even if silicone did leak from your implants (and the chance of this is only about 1.5 percent), it is highly unlikely that it would be able to leak through the pores in your alveoli (milk-producing cells) and into your milk, due to it's high molecular weight. Also, it's inability to dissolve in water makes it unlikely to enter your milk supply. If it did somehow find its way into your milk, would it be dangerous to your baby? Actually, the silicone used in implants is the same form as in Mylicon drops that have been used for many years to treat gassiness and colic in babies. Silicone is also used in the manufacturing of pacifiers and bottle nipples, in over-the-counter medications, such as antacids, and to coat fruits and vegetables
Reply:If you have implants they usually put them under the muscle in the breast so it shouldnt affect the breast feeding at all. I also think that if they were leaking you notice due to the size shape and you wouls get sick from the silicon. Most use gel or saline now anyway.

I havent had them done myself, but i know many girls who have done that - some look good, some look bad, some really messed up. One girls boobs look like there is one boob on another, many look like skin is gona pop as soon as you touch them (usually for strippers and porn stars who make them too big), one girl had one implant go bad and now she is stuck with one big boob and one small one.

I had large breasts in the first place, (DD's), over time they became flat and had lost their shape, though they were NOT saggy, just very flat. (i'm going to make this very short lol)

They were also very uncomfortable.

I chose one size larger, under the muscle, saline.

It was a on hour procedure, went home same day, was in agony for a month. My breast swelled up, i was very unhappy with how they were settling. My doctor re-assured me it would be a years time until i saw the end results. My breasts are very natural looking, they hang natural, they feel natural, and are back to DD's, since when i had them done i was a little overweight, and have lost weight since.

I don't regret it, i feel back to normal.

My sister in law had hers over the muscle, 2 sizes larger, prior to that she had 2 boys and had very saggy, drained breasts. We went out shopping same day lol. She is contemplating a lift, since her nipples are not where she would like them.

My sister in law and I, both have small incisions under the breast fold, they are less then an inch big and are well placed that you can't even see.

My doctor informed me that there is typically two reactions, you're either very much in agony, or you're up and running that same week. Though i'm sure everyone has their own way of dealing with certain situations.

Reply:I've had them done and my experience was great. Make sure you find a good certified surgeon with good follow up care. Find a doctor that specializes in the particular incision you want, mine was transx. My recovery wasn't bad at all. I was up and about the 2nd day... no pain, just tightness. I didn't have to even take the pain meds perscribed. After a couple of weeks... they become part of you. No regrets- AT ALL!

It's best to get a consult before doing this, so you don't have to raise your fundraising goal after meeting it and then choosing a doctor out of your price range. hi i do not live in your area and cannot give you any prices but i can share with you my experience on the surgery b/c i had it done four years ago. Firstly, there is a great website that really helped me alot. Its called: Implantinfobynicole. There are chat rooms and all kinds of pictures and comments by women who had the surgery. Also lists many surgeons in your area. you may also want to investigate diff't surgeons in your area first and see what sort of work they do. Most surgeons will offer a free consult. I had to pay for two of my consults but it was worth it b/c i made a very good choice. Here is my story i would like to share with you. From the time i was a teenager, i always hated my breasts b/c they were also a 32A but they were round and perky at the time. I saw a doctor in my early 20's and he encouraged me to wait until i had children. Im so glad i listed to his advice. I didnt realize that women will pay alot of money just to get a nice shape. Its not really the size but the shape. Anyhow, I waited unil i had my son and then i ended up divorced. I did alot of research on breast augmentation b/c after i breast fed, my boobs were horrible looking and even smaller and droopy. I dont regret breast feeding but I had to do something for sure b/c then i was even more self-conscious about my breasts. I finally chose an experienced surgeon who had manypictures and asured me that he wouldtake care of me if any complications arised. This is important. Make sure you find a doctor who will take care of you if the surgery is unsuccessful. I had my surgery four years ago ad to this day have no regrets. My breasts looked beautiful afterwards. I went to a Large Bcup or small C cup b/c i have a verysmall chest wall and i also went under the muscle It was very very painful and i had to take pain killers for about two weeks. I couldnt do much for the first two weeks. I went back to work after a month b/c i have to do alot of lifting at my job and id dint go back to the gym until about a month and a half. At first your boobs are huge and really hard due to al the trauma and swelling. You have to wear a special bra for about a week and then you have to massage them to prevent scar tissue from forming. I had to wear baggy shirts b/c my boobs were huge and everyone could tell they were fake. Once the sweling went down, i lvoed it!! To this day ifeel so good aboutmyself and have no regrets. The onlything is that im pregnant nine months now and im hoping my boobs will look good after again. I do plan on pumping my milk but will probablyuse formula b/c i have to retun to work early. I had my incision done under the breast so that is whyi still can make milk throughmy nipples .

all i can say is that if you plan to have kids, I would probably wait b/c your breasts change afterwards and you dont want to spend tons of money for nothing. I would wait. If you do not plan to have kids or you have had your kids and are done, great. If youreallywant the surgery regardless just know that you probably wont be able to breast feed if you have kids. Im going to try a little with the pump but i dont know what will happen yet. I love the surgery and its awesome. I wish you good luck and please do alot of research before getting it done. Know all the risk factors first b/c there is always a risk when you have any typeof surgery done. Main thing is you find a good doctor. I paid an extra 500.00 for my dcotor but he was really good. Reply:Dental implants cost between 40,000 Baht and 75,000 Baht depending on where you go. I have NOT had implants, I have used Bangkok International Dental Center on Ratchapisek Road for cleaning and fillings and they do a good job. It's a brand new center just opened January 2006. They are close to where I usually stay about a 10 minute walk from the Huay Khwang station on the MTA subway.

The other one I listed Bangkok Smile or www.dentalthailand.com has 3 locations. Ploenchit Road, Sukhumvit Soi 21 and Soi 63. They are much cheaper but the prices listed are discounted to 12/31/06. I don't know the regular prices.

C's are out of the question, especially if you do a lot of running or if you play baseball, it could really throw off your batting stance... Or if you are a swimmer, Cs would make it hard to stay underwater. I would say go with a full A, otherwise your skin might look a bit stretched, going from flat to boobs.

They are called Prosthodontists. Prostho from prosthetic meaning artificial. Implants are artificial teeth but when planned and designed well work just as well as your own teeth.

Endodontists do root canals and Periodontists do gum surgeries.

Prosthodontists belong to the dental specialty that are trained to treatment plan, design and restore implants. Some non-specialists (general or cosmetic or family dentists) do implants also because they want to make money but are not trained to do so. Sometimes they pick up skills by going to weekend courses in Hawaii, Las Vegas or some golf resort in Florida - but prosthodontists go through a rigorous residency program that is accredited by ADA. In my opinion a good Prosthodontist would be your best bet.

Small natural is better than big fake. But big natural is good too. Big HUGE, I'm not too crazy about. All in moderation.
Reply:Appreciate what you have. I personally find it very shallow of somebody to be willing to spend so much money on something as petty and unimportant as breast implants, when they could put the money to better their lives- or other peoples lives, in a much better way. Why would anybody spend so much money just to conform to what woman 'should' look like, and how vein do you have to be to put yourself through that just to get more attention? Besides the fact that fake breasts tend to be hard, unrealistic and unattractive, you risks scars, losing sensitivity in your nipples and breast, and become unable to breast feed- the reason you have breasts in the first place!

I guess the issue bothers me so much because I both am attracted to women, and have natural large DD breasts- and no I'm not overweight. I hate the way fake breasts look and feel in a sexual perspective, and hate the reasons why women get them even more. The attention I get from having big boobs is not flattering, and I certainly wouldn't pay that much money for it.
Reply:Any guy that would prefer implants over real is not worth knowing. Think about the kind of guy they must be, very shallow and not bothered about the girl as a person. These kinds of guys only view women as sexual objects, so they might look at you with your C cup implants and try to get you into bed but it's not like they want a relationship with you. They basically just view you as a sexual object and that's it.

There is much more to a woman than the size of her breasts, and if any guy does not appreciate your small bust size, then he is not worth your time! You should be loved and appreciated just the way you are, no matter what...no man should ever make demands on changing how you look to satisfy his ridiculous idea of how a woman "should" look. Clearly, getting breast enlargement should be a decision that you make yourself, and it would be something that you do FOR YOURSELF, and not to satisfy others. Is it possible for your body to react to the fertilized egg before it even implants?

I have a dilemma, my x didnt pull out twice on saturday and I know saturday was the beginning of my fertile window and I should of ovualted sunday or monday. I already have a 20month old, so could my body already be reacting to the fertilized egg this early cause, my body already knows what to do? Cause Im feeling sick, pooping, I have abdominal cramping and back cramping on my left side.

No I don't think this is possible. The reason your body starts to react in those ways in because the hormone that is being released, which only starts to have effect once the egg is fully implanted. Perhaps you've got a gastric bug or something. There is a lot of it going around!
Reply:You are going to think I am crazy, but it could be psychological. If you are extremely worried, or extremely excited about the possibility of being pregnant, your body could be mocking a pregnancy.

I've heard it happen and seen it happen. When I was doing my internship we had a woman that tested positive for pregnancy and came back 4 weeks later with the baby bump, but when the sonogram was done there was no trace of there ever being a baby and she had assured us she had not bled (miscarried). She was so excited about the baby, and had already gotten a bigger apartment and set up the nursery.

Just calm down, if you are in a panic, wish for the best and go to the doctor as soon as you can.

Well I do imagine that they would but I know that about every 8-10 years breast implants can leak so the person has to go back under for surgery every 8-10 years to have them taken care of or it can be dangerous. Can be quite costly!

So I don't imagine they stay the same all the time, gravity has to do it's job sometime haha.

If you're going to do it, do your homework, ask to see his before and after pics, and don't go cheap. Get the best you can, because cheap ones can look really bad. If they're done tastefully, then I see nothing wrong with them. It's the ones that look like they're blown up like balloons and hard as a rock that look trashy to me. If it's something you want to do, then I say go for it!

Reply:Somebody I know spent about 500 pounds. They had a very good job =) trusty place as well...

I just like to let you know about the injection option as well... They inject your breasts with this stuff, and it makes your cup size go up either a cup size or two. And makes them a good shape. This lasts 3 months, but it only costs about £50 and it can be done professionally and looks good. Its also less risky and less likely to go wrong. One woman went on her dinner break and arrived back after dinner havingjust had breast injections! haha she was a B and went up to a D!!

I personally would choose the injection, as its cheaper, and even though it only lasts 3 months, its good because its cheap enough to pay to have it done again, and in case you decide you want to be small again for a little while! you will hgave to google this or look in magazines though.

Reply:You are way too thin for being 5'1". Even my mother weighed more than you at that age and she's 4'11". Gain some weight (read at least 25 pounds to be healthy) and you'll probably get some boobs. They're not all that great to begin with and most men hate plastic breasts.

But I have to wonder what kind of employment a person can get with full facial tattoos, lip rings, eye brow rings (and some of the other crazy piercings you can easily google).

I mean, not everyone can be a musician/tattoo artist/jim rose circus sideshow freak.

Most service related or any with dealings with the general public are pretty much excluded. Most of these businesses which deal with the public are quite conservative and facial implants and piercings do not fit the conservative image most businesses want to project. I also have to wonder where these people find jobs. I see people in public places with all kinds of piercings and tattoos and a number I find to be offensive in nature. The horn implants, for example. I personally would not hire a person with horn implants, ever. Too many people out there who believe in satan...
Reply:You would be surprised if you looked- I understand the facial tattoos and piercings but like you said not everyone can get jobs where that is acceptable, not everyone does that. When I was in junior high (a long time ago) I had this band teacher who was really lame and seemed like such a mellow person, when I was in college I found out that he had full body tattoos except his head and hands- i was shocked. Now as for myself- I'm a flight nurse on a helicopter. I have 3/4 sleeves, a 12 point corset piercing on my back, navel piercing, tongue piercing, snake bites, twelve ear piercings, and numerous other tattoos. When I am at work I only wear 2 earrings in each ear and my flight suit covers my tattoos. I am certain that if I am saving your life you would not care what I look like, and most people do not even notice that my lips are pierced when I'm not wearing them. I've even accidentally worn my tongue ring to work none even noticed. I know that I am good at what I do and my co-workers, boss, and patients know it too. What you look like has nothing to do with your character. It is always funny though when co-workers see me in a tee-shirt with my jewelry in. I know you do not mean to come off nasty towards people who pierced or tattooed but I want everyone to know that appearance does not make a person.
Reply:Not every job in the world deals with the public, and those don't really care what you look like. They can make it harder to get experience though, as most people get that from silly part time jobs in shops.

Quite a lot of people I know work in "creative" careers. Like sculptors, architects and that sort of thing. And no one really cares, they just think you're a little bit eccentric. As long as theres nothing offensive, then I don't see how it should really affect anything.

And then theres always factory work for the people who aren't qualified, or just rather dim....

As someone above said, modifications like that take years to consider and plan out, not something you get done for the hell of it. People normally have their career before they start, they're quite expensive.... 1st genaration horns aren't very noticable, and not many people would see them either

Apart from implants, large streches and scarification, everything can be covered up for the public eye anyway. Theres Dermablend and retainers for that.... And I know there are people who go through that every day.

depends on the materials used. you never want to put a non precious alloy in your mouth. by this i mean you need to request gold substructure on crowns. as for veneers i would say as long as they are done properly you shouldn't have a problem. if this is a concern, i would stay away from so called no prep veneers, i have read articles that say they can cause tissue recession, usually not that much but because they will be slightly thicker at the gumline, the gums will naturally pull away from that area

a friend of mine, who wanted to be bigger-she paid 5000$ for her implants two years ago-i imagine that they have gone up since then You should research any doctor who you are considering doing implants, befor accepting-too many illegal ones, and botched ones out there. she also waited till she was 26-and she did it for her own self esteem, not to please anybody else.

i think at 18-it is still too young to alter your body-personally-i do not believe in implants-or altering unless it is a medical reason-but ,,i do know my friend now feels 100% better about herself-and it shows through her personality, and smiles...oh yeah she was an "A" cup if that prior to the surgery.

tattoos are ok but not in excess 1 or 2 small ones that are hidden from every day sight. def. no piercings you may think you can just take them out but it does leave scare tissue. when I was 16 I got my belly button pierced I took it out when I was 18. I was talking to this girl recently who has breast implants and she said she no longer has any real feeling in her nipples and they can't get erect anymore. It got me thinking why so many women do this to their bodies. I think it is becoming more and more popular, and I have met girls as young as 15 and 16 who think they need bigger breasts. Who is at fault here? Men? Women? Advertisers? I have a hard time believing it is just men because there are tons of guys out there like myself who love smaller/natural breasts.

Why do women mutilate themselves with breast implants?
Well in nature big boobs equals fertility in our species. So it is a morphed version of that attraction. Honestly I know most guys don't like implants. I think girls see women and how their breasts are in the movies, advertisements, Play Boy etc and somehow feel inadequate or have had nothing to compare their own breasts to and now feel they are not normal or somehow their breasts are unattractive. These media examples basically say "Men are attracted to BIG BOOBS, no matter how fake and hard they are. You need big boobs for attention, otherwise no man will want you." A bit extreme yes, but the truth. I would also make a guess that it roots in their self esteem, trying to improve something physical to cover up something emotionally wrong. It's almost like being a natural,strong, normal woman is a bad things these days. If you have cellulite you are unattractive. If you have a little fat on your bones, you are ugly and overweight. My husband loves my breasts the way they are, I'm happy I found someone who loves my body the way it is. Some guys are just that shallow I guess.
Reply:I agree with both answers above. First, the women do not operate upon themselves. Secondly, if our society had not evolved to place women with substantially ample breasts on a pedestal, women would not pursue implants. Moreover, if the products were not available no one would have them.

Ever since I was a kid, I had a lump on my left breast. I've had alot of surgeries done, but it keeps growing back. Fortunately, it's benign. In 2 years, my doctor will remove my entire left breast and put an implant in to prevent the lump from growing again. I'm a bit scared because of all the horror stories I've heard about implants bursting or getting people sick.

i think the practice is much safer now then it use to be, but the thing is you have to really research the doctor who you want to have perform the operation and see what he has done in the past, and his degrees. ive heard horror stories from people who went to lil hole in the wall places and wondered why something went wrong - you get what you pay for, right?

so just do research on the doctor, and make sure he can make them both look the same size and similar shape - because you wouldnt want to look "off".

I had the same debate with myself until one of my friend had a really bad botched surgery. The first surgery went well and the implants looked fine. She thought her breasts were too saggy and wanted to get them lifted. The surgeon busted one of the implants and now she's lopsided because he's not opting to fix his mistake.

These things do happen, and yes there is some legal action she can take but that can take a long time and a lot more money than you think.

Reply:Why do you have to convince her of anything? It's her business. There's really nothing wrong with choosing plastic surgery to enhance your body, if you can afford it. Many people obsess about body parts they feel are inferior and are insecure because of it. Having this done might free her to move on to more important things. It's one less thing to obsess about.

It really is her decision to make and only she can make it for herself. Don't underestimate the ego boosting power of a pair of sweater puppies. I had my boobs done and the self esteem boost was amazing! For the first time I felt good about my shape, like the top and the bottom were of the same proportions. I went from a bottom heavy pear to a perfectly proportioned hour-glass. Everyone told me it wouldn't really help and that confidence comes from within and be happy with what I have and yadda yadda yadda, but they really didn't know what they were talking about. I'm happy I had my 34AAA's turned into something that looks good in clothes. And my husband likes the results too, he was my biggest supporter, in a manner of speaking.

Try to find pictures and/or stories about people who've had bad results from getting breast implants and tell her that those results could be what she faces. If you don't want to do that, you could just tell her just how fine she looks and getting breast implants isn't the answer to her insecurity problem. Also, since you said she wasn't flat, you could say that she'd probably end up getting the implants too big and they'll look more fake than natural.

Most reputable surgeons will not do it before you are 18 unless there is a physical abnormality that is significant. Most womens breasts are slightly different in size so don't worry. Also remember that your breasts are probably not done growing. They could continue to be defined in shape and size for another 2-3 years. Also keep in mind that breast implants will affect future mammograms. I know at 15 breast cancer is not your top worry, but you should be aware that it is much more difficult to detect with implants and with the rise in breast cancer rates it's important to know. It's also important in case you have a family history of the disease.

Please think again before contemplating this major major surgery. It is not just like going to sleep and waking with larger more beautiful breasts. You are put to sleep, a tube goes into your throat and a machine breathes for you. Then the actual procedure is done and is not a gentle process. Then you wake up, bruised and sore from your waist to your neck. And that lasts for 2+ weeks. Recovery is painful. The whole thing is not as glamorous as it seems.

Reply:I watched one of those "Plastic Surgery Before and After" shows recently and a 15 year old young woman had breast reduction surgery, so age is not a factor when the parent gives consent. What the factor is: finding a plastic surgeon who specializes in breast implants willing to perform your surgery. You'll have to do some research. When I need research on a doctor, my first step is always to ask my family doctor who he recommends. Your mom will no doubt want to be in on this process, too.

Implants require some soft tissue coverage to feel OK. You will find women who "went larger" having more problems with them and being able to feel them more easily than women who were moderate in their choice of size. They don't make you float or sink in a pool.
Reply:My mom has them, and it doesnt feel any different, but I know that when you lose alot of weight, then can form pockets, and bubbles(she thought she had breast cancer).

Then dont freeze, I dont think because its not a freezable mixture, and they float like regular breasts.

How big is the difference?

Just remember a reduction can be covered by insurance while an implant will not. You also have to maintain and upgrade implants as time goes by.

They will always be different sizes, even with an implant/reduction, as they cannot get it exactly, but it can be close.

2. This is a personal decision. I personally don't care for them. My wife has talked about it, and I told her that's a big no-no for me. I don't want to grab a bag of fake t-t! In addition, I think (for the most part) it's a sign of either

a. Vanity, or

b. Lack of confidence

Both are personally a turn-off for me.

3. Of course, if my wife had a double mastectomy, I might feel different. I'l have to cross that bridge if I come to it.

Look at Kate Hudson. To me, she's one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. She doesn't have much up there, but I don't think that would bother me much if she was pressing her lips to mine.

I would imagine if you dress up what you have, instead of worrying about what you don't, you'll be better off in the long run.

I have a friend who had mosquito bites for boobs (she's 5'8" and weighs 120 lbs) and got C's. She looks great in clothes but when not in clothes she just looks like she has balloons under her skin. She also gets alot of the wrong kind of attention from men.

I know alot of men like those big boobs but to me they look so fake. I'd rather look at what God gave then some balloons that a surgeon put there. And from I understand the real thing (no matter how big) feel alot better than those fake things.

It's your decision in the end and you should do what will make you feel good about you. Just make sure you feel good about yourself the way you are, and if you want to enhance don't go stupid big.

Reply:You can change the appearance by doing exercises designed to target the pectorals and associated muscles in the area. That will lift and give the illusion of larger breasts. Breast tissue is mostly fat, so you could add some weight. But there is no guarantee it will go where you want it. Look to your genetics for clues.

2. Gain Weight. You can't be really tall and have size 6 in womens.

Reply:In my career as a mammographic technologist, I have felt hundreds of breast implants. By far, the majority do not feel very natural. Many are encapsulated, so they feel like hard rocks. The scars on the breasts are unappealing. But, my biggest problem with breast implants is this: It will be very, very difficult to find an early breast cancer in a patient with implants. The implants will hide the majority of breast tissue on the mammographic film. As you know, the earlier a cancer is caught, the longer the survival rate and the better the quality of life. So, it is possible that you can have a wife with implants that are fun for a coupla years, but look at the trade-offs......

I had mine done two years ago and have had no problems what so ever. The recovery time was minimal....I wore a supportive bra for around 2-3 weeks and avoided lifting anything for around 6. In fact, the morning after surgery I went for a 2 mile walk....it was a slow walk though. I was released to full exercise at week 6. If you are serious about this surgery, see a board certified plastic surgeon. All md's have different rules and routines and you will want to follow your dr's to a T. It was the best thing I ever did for myself and I have not regretted for one moment since. Good luck!

There is absolutely no good or responsible reason to allow a 15 year old to get breast implants. NONE.

She is only 15 and has the potential to grow naturally until she is into her early twenties; this means that if she grows naturally after getting implants, the chances of those implants bursting and causing serious medical problems increases GREATLY. Even if they did not burst, they would need to be replaced very soon afterwards if she grew at all.

I hope to God you're not a parent thinking about letting your 15 year old CHILD (what does she need larger breasts for?!?!) get breast implants.

Not to mention that you'd not be able to find a decent doctor who would do that.

Recently I asked if hooking a processor, RAM and hard drive to a human brain is possible. Looks like it could be in a few decades, my question is if a human brain could handle this. The aim would be to improve the brain, but might the brain be overwhelmed by such rapid thinking, resulting in unwanted results such as insanity or brain death? I don't need an answer on the technology involved, just on the brains ability to withstand such changes.

I don't know much about this subject but i can imagine the brain just shutting down, yet the human body is very adaptive as well. I would have to say that implemented RAM in the brain would be too much of a change, and the body would fight it as an intruder, would possibly screw up neurotransmitters.

What is the difference between saline and silicone breast implants?
Some surgeons feel that silicone implants have a more natural look and feel than saline implants because silicone gel has a texture that is similar to breast tissue. Saline implants have some advantages over silicone implants. Silicone implant ruptures are harder to detect. When saline implants rupture, they deflate and the results are seen almost immediately. When silicone implants rupture, the breast often looks and feels the same because the silicone gel may leak into surrounding areas of the breast without a visible difference. Replacing a ruptured silicone gel implant is more difficult than repairing a saline implant. Silicone implants also have a higher rate of capsular contracture and a higher deflation rate.

Reply:Well, since exercise helps to tone your muscles, you could do so for your pectoral muscles too. Exercises that help to tone the chest muscles are exercises like push-up and bench press (which you can do with a dumbbell). Firmer and bigger boobs are always good :D Besides that, food also play a part in developing your boobs. But I've heard that consuming soy actually helps, cos it contains estrogen. So, if you like tofu and soy milk, good for you :) But of course, the level of estrogen found in these foods is not the same as that our bodies produce. Hence, most effective way to get bigger boobs (w/o surgery) is to exercise the right muscles.
Reply:You can of course "cheat" by using a bra and putting on an illusion that they are bigger (you don't even need to stuff!), but there is not much you can do for larger breasts without going under the knife, unless you gain a lot of weight or get pregnant.

Yes they are able to do this. Its called fat replacement surgery, but most aren't able to achieve consistent results. IThere is one doctor in New York that is able to get results consistently (I caught the tail end of a documentary) Unfortunately, I cant remember his name as I am also interested in it. First and foremost: Fake boobs look Fake!!

If you have ever seen porn, then you know exactly what fake breasts look like: perfect. How creepy is that? attractive and unattractive women are drawn to the silicone bags, undergoing intense surgeries in order to make their bodies more "appealing". Is it really worth it? After all is said and done, is the $6000 bucks they invested into inflating their chest really worth it? After all, fake breasts can't even hold a candle to the real thing.

Second: They don't move, EVER.

This means that if you get fake breasts, you can run as many miles as you want without a cumbersome sports bra. You won't have to spend agonizing hours bouncing around a dressing room trying to squeeze your DDs into a massive and hideous sports bra just so you can speed walk comfortably on the treadmill at your gym. In fact, with fake breasts, you will never have to wear a bra again. You can go "commando" anywhere, anytime. In other words, you won't be inconvenienced by a pair of breasts that at times, seem to have a mind of their own.

Third: They are incredibly perky.

Not to mention the fact that since I hit puberty hardcore at the age of 12, sprouting C cup, (which looked more like D cup because I was a damn stick) I am a bit bias. Well I think it depends where the missing teeth are. Are you missing 4 consecutive teeth, or are they scattered throughout your mouth? If it's 4 consecutive teeth missing, you'll probably have less implants, whereas it would be hard to tell if you have teeth scattered. You should consult with a dentist about this.
Reply:No you cannot get two teeth per implant i'm afraid!! They fit one crown over each implant. They screw in a metal stub like thing into your jaw bone (sorry don't know the technical name for it) and then a crown is fitted over the top of this stub! So as others have already said, you will need 4 implants. Implants can vary in price depending on where you go and what part of the country you live. But you are looking in the region of £1000-£2000 per implant!! If you can't afford that you may want to consider getting a bridge, or getting a partial denture. They can fix dentures into you mouth permanently nowadays as opposed to having a removable one!! And can look just as good as having implants.

Just to note as well, if you lost your 4 teeth to gum disease (which usually results in a loss of bone too) it may be unlikely you will make a suitable candidate for implants because you need to have bone that is strong enough to hold the implant. With a lack of jaw bone tissue or brittle jaw bone the implant will most likely fail. But obviously tests/examination of the bone tissue in you jaw would have to be carried out to truly determine if your suitable.
Reply:I use to be a dental nurse until a year ago, and at that time each implant was £2000! Depending on where the missing teeth are, it is possible for your dentist to doa bridge for you which is a lot less expensive and basically means each tooth either side of the gap is prepped for a crown, but a 'bridge is made' to carry two teeth inbetween.

Implants are incredibly expenisve, or course there is the option of a denture which is a lot cheaper too, and a plate with just 4 teeth on it wouldnt be as huge as the ones you get with a full set on. Its just a little plate people put in.

Try to evaluate by yourself as to the amount of bone you have lost after the extractions. Do you have any parafunctional habits like grinding your teeth(buxism) etc.?

My husband was diagnosed earlier this year with having plaques in the blood vessels of his arteries. My father didn't qualify for stents and had to have the bypass surgery do to too many blockages. He has recovered nicely.

I know a guy who had stents in, but wound up having bypass surgery because they didn't work. My great aunt had a stent and is doing fine.

Each person is different. Once you discuss it with your doctor and your husband, then decide what would be best for his situation. There are risks for every surgery. If the pain is unbearable, I would go ahead with it and try it. Ask the surgeon/doctor if he would have to have a bypass surgery in the future. There are no guarantees. I will pray for you and your husband to make the best choice for him.

Reply:My grandad has just had that proceedure, this is probably the best first choice as the other option for my grandad was a heart bypass. They do these proceedures so often you've got to trust they know what they are doing. Although the recovery can be tough sometimes, its better to give it a chance rather than let things get worse or go for a harder/ more scary proceedure.

I think theres a very small percentage of women who really do it just for themselves, and nobydy else. With breast implants, though, i think it has everything to do with how men, and even other women will percieve us. it's all about image. Honestly, by all accounts, big boobs are a pain in the butt. Implants aren't functional for breastfeeding, they're hard to fit, clothes-wise, etc etc.

I'm small chested, and while I definitely wish I had more curves (And to be honest, that's all for guys, lol. it has nothing to do with me. Generally, I like my body, but I have worried that a guy would look at me and think I'm too skinny) I'd never resort of plastic surgery. it just seems so superficial.

But to asnwer your question, I think an overwhelming majority of women getitng plastic surgery are doing it to make themselves more appealing to men. Even if you;re happily married, you still want to feel like you;re attracitve to the opposite sex.. like you aren't stuck with that person just because nobody else will have you lol.

This shouldn't be a problem. Most implants are now placed beneath the layer of muscle covering the chest, therefore it doesn't interfere with breast feeding at all. Talk to your baby doc if you are pregnant, if you're not yet, don't worry! Go get pregnant!

Reply:after your surgery yes your implants look way bigger due to swelling, as they soften up (the swelling going away) they will also fall into a more natural position. this can take up to a year. i suggest waiting atleast a year to decide if they still look to big for your body frame.

I'm 5'9 and 107 pounds. I already tried everything under the sun to gain weight but this is the highest I've ever been. I'm 21 and have never had a boyfriend because I'm so self-conscious about my chest. I really want breast implants b/c im barely even a 34 A. The big question is, what are your pulmonary function tests like? Are your lungs as healthy as they could possibly be? If not, can you increase your airway clearance to get your lungs as healthy as possible?

There is information out there, but it'd be in forums like Cysticfibrosis.com. They have a really nice adult forum there, and all kinds of information.

I work in a CF clinic and a couple of my patients have had implants. They've been pretty happy with them, but caution that you have to really check out your surgeon and make sure he or she knows about your CF. Any surgery requiring anesthesia is not to be taken lightly.

Reply:Any time that anyone has surgery and general anesthesia, there is risk of death. For many people, the risk is small. However, your risk is higher because of your cystic fibrosis. I can see that it is painful for you to not have had a boyfriend, but is it worth risking your life? You have made it through the worst part of maturing through your teenage years - meeting boys who do not have a 36D requirement will be easier.

You may need additional surgeries because of your disease - you should try and keep yourself as whole as you can.

Generally there are no side effects. The implants may be rejected by the body and can be simply removed. Even when such rejection occurs some stiffening of the palate may, nevertheless, occur, and this can bring an improvement. Pillar implants are known to be without serious side effects as they use non-toxic materials. I know of two patients whom this has fully satisfied.

Even then there is no way to guarantee it's gonna go to your boobs. But you're 15. You still have about fours left to grow. Give it some more time.

My Grandma got these 2 implants, that are like little pegs that her lower denture snaps on to. They hold the lower denture in place when she chews. Her upper denture stays in place all by it self.

She thought her lower plate was uncomfortable, so she stopped using it. Now she uses the implants as little metal teeth that she chews with by putting food between the upper teeth and the hard implants and crushing it.

Can she go on doing this without damaging her gums?

Yeah, I don't think it's a good idea to use your implant abutments as teeth. They just arnt designed for that, ya know? Yeah, I would be worried about gum damage, too. You might get something stuck under there that you can't really floss out, and that would just be bad hygiene.

If her dentures are bothering her, have her visit the DDS who made them and they can be adjusted so that they don't irritate her gums or anything. But yeah, it's probably a bad idea to use your abutments as teeth.

According to the link below the radiation only extends a few mm. I personally would think the risk to your family are extremely low.

However according to the article it is recommended to avoid "prolonged and close" contact the first few months with children and pregnant women.

Note that it saids studies show that spouses recieve no additional radiation.
